The Role

As we continue to grow as QuidelOrtho, we are hiring a Contract Administration Analyst to join our team. We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Contract Administration Analyst to join our dynamic healthcare manufacturing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing various contractual aspects including chargeback reconciliation, GPO admin fees, distributor, and customer rebates. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of healthcare industry dynamics.

The Responsibilities

  • Contract Management: Administer and manage contracts with healthcare providers, distributors, and group purchasing organizations (GPOs).

  • Chargeback Reconciliation: Oversee and reconcile chargeback transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements.

  • GPO Admin Fees: Coordinate and process GPO administrative fees in accordance with contractual terms and conditions.

  • Distributor and Customer Rebates: Manage the calculation, validation, and processing of distributor and customer rebates.

  • Sales Tracings Management: Analyze and validate customer and distributor sales tracings and outsales for accuracy, and work collaboratively with business partners to resolve discrepancies.

  • Data Analysis: Utilize analytical tools and methods to analyze contract performance, pricing trends, and revenue realization.

  • Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including sales, finance, and legal departments to ensure alignment and adherence to contract terms.

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements within the contract administration function.

  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of contracts, transactions, and related correspondence. Generate regular reports to track key performance indicators and contract metrics.

  • Other activities driven by business needs.

  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned

The Individual

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in the healthcare industry

  • Minimum 3 years business experience required ideally in contract administration or sales operations.

  • Demonstrated leadership to define and to accomplish common goals, strong project management and high attention to detail to meet timelines and milestones.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to achieve objectives in challenging and complex situations throughout multiple levels within the organization.

  • An aptitude for learning, a willingness to adapt quickly and an enthusiasm to continually improve are vital.

  • Knowledge of contracts and pricing

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Intermediate Level ability in Microsoft Excel

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree (Masters or MBA) preferred

  • Experience in the healthcare industry preferred.

The Key Working Relationships

Internal Partners:

Contract Managers: Work closely with the Contract Management team to understand the terms and conditions of rebate payments and programs, including eligibility criteria, qualifying products/services, and calculation methods.

Sales Team: Collaborate with the sales team to gain a comprehensive understanding of distributor programs linked to rebates. Clarify program terms, eligibility criteria, and performance metrics as needed.

Finance Partners: Collaborate closely with members of the finance team to ensure alignment of rebate reporting and analysis with overall financial objectives and strategies. Assist the finance team in generating reports pertaining to distributor rebates, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in report delivery.

National Accounts Directors/Managers: Collaborate with the National Sales Director to address GPO concerns, resolve issues, and foster positive relationships. Provide reporting as required.

External Partners:

External Customers including Distributors and GPOs: Maintain regular communication with the GPO and Distributor partners to provide updates on rebate processing status, resolve any discrepancies or disputes, and address inquiries regarding rebate payments and deductions.

The Work Environment

Typical hybrid office environment. Must have the discipline, organization skills and self-motivation to work autonomously in a home office.ice environment, as permitted.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit. Occasionally required to reach, climb, or balance. Must be physically able to travel up to 10% of the time. On a typical workday, 80% of the time will be on computer, doing paperwork, or on phone. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Salary Transparency


The salary range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, geography, and abilities of the candidate, in addition to internal equity and alignment with market data. At QuidelOrtho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on that facts and circumstances of each case. The salary for this position is $58,000-$99,000. QuidelOrtho offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, along with a 401(k) plan, employee assistance program, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid time off (including sick time) and paid Holidays. All benefits are non-contractual, and QuidelOrtho may amend, terminate, or enhance the benefits provided, as it deems appropriate.
