Job Profile Summary:

Under general direction of the PACE management team, assist with developing and implementing quality improvement program. Establish annual review and update of quality improvement plan. Assist with implementation of quality indicators, data management, education and training of staff around quality improvement to include preparation of routine and special reports, and coordination of improvement efforts arising from monitoring activities.

Assist with implementation of quality indicators, data management, education and training of staff around quality improvement to include preparation of routine and special reports, and coordination of improvement efforts arising from monitoring activities.

Job Roles

  • Coordinate quality assurance/improvements activities based on the National PACE Association standards and regulatory agencies.
  • In collaboration with the PACE management team, develop an organizational quality plan, quality work plan, annual QAPI program effectiveness review, participant/caregiver satisfaction survey, and written analysis.
  • Assist PACE management team with improving the quality of participant care.
  • Coordinate identification of program-wide specific quality indicators.
  • Conduct in-service training for PACE staff.
  • Facilitate quality assurance-related communications to the interdisciplinary team.
  • Perform data collection, analysis, and reporting as required.
  • Assist PACE management in preparation for certification surveys and involve staff at all levels in survey compliance issues.
  • In collaboration with PACE management team, coordinate and facilitate all State and federal rules on compliance updates and implementation related to the overall integrity of the quality assurance program.
  • Perform contractor onsite quality reviews.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Certifications/Licenses/Registrations

  • Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the skills, knowledge and ability to perform the essential job duties is required.
  • Ability and means to travel as needed in a timely manner within San Diego County, to locations that may have limited access to public transportation; proof of liability and property damage insurance on vehicle used is required. DRIVER REQUIREMENTS: Licensed for a minimum of 3 years; No more than 2 violations and/or accidents within 3 years; No vehicle related suspensions/reinstatements; No DUI, reckless or felony Driving within 7 years.
  • Professional certification is preferred.

Experience/Specialized skills (including Language)

  • 3 years of experience in compliance or quality assurance.
  • Demonstrated experience in performing tasks related to quality assurance processes, data collection, analysis, and/or systems analysis.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills (written, verbal and presentation).
  • Demonstrated experience preparing comprehensive, accurate, and detailed analyses.
  • Technical proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
  • Experience identifying and presenting unfavorable or controversial information with tact and skill.
  • Experience working with accreditation or regulatory standards highly desirable.

If you are hired at Family Health Centers of San Diego, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, jurisdictional requirements, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to these factors - we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.
