Family Health Centers of San Diego (FHCSD) is looking for a Coordinator, Transportation Fleet. Due to the significant impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the residents that FHCSD provides healthcare-related services, there has been an increased demand for transportation services resulting in the growth of the FHCSD fleet requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • In collaboration with management, develop, implement and document procedures and processes related to Fleet Transportation.
  • Document and maintain records of all fleet repairs and maintenance performed.
  • Maintain clear communications among and across departments in confirming all repair and maintenance requests have been approved by Leadership.
  • Coordinate vendor payments through the established payment process.
  • Ensure all transportation requests flow through the established software portal, and filter what and where services will be rendered.
  • Oversee the tracking process related to PM due dates and overall service issues.
  • Ensure and confirm fleet drivers meet all compliance requirements related to vehicle operation within Transportation Services.
  • In collaboration with Human Resources, coordinate the DMV pulls for each driver being considered for hire, and other legal driving requirements.
  • Track fleet drivers to ensure they meet mandatory requirements to operate FHCSD fleet of vehicles.
  • Coordinate and confirm driver training is completed and track in software.
  • Assist in tracking and confirm scheduling of vehicles; i.e., vehicles scheduled are on the road, as well as those not scheduled.
  • Track insurance deadlines are met for each driver in coordination with the Manager of Transportation.
  • Coordinate and confirm in collaboration with the Transportation Maintenance Coordinator that vehicle inspections are completed and uploaded into the tracking system daily.
  • May support and assist with insurance claims.
  • Track and coordinate the drivers hired to ensure completion and updates on training for safe operation of vehicles, and all related documentation is captured and entered into the automated systems for tracking purposes.
  • Grant funded program. This position is funded through 03/31/2023; continuation of employment is dependent upon availability of and/or renewed funding.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED Equivalent required.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the skills, knowledge and ability to perform the essential job duties, and which meets any required state or federal certification requirement
  • Must meet driving requirements

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base range for this position, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses.

18.00 - 24.00

If you are hired at Family Health Centers of San Diego, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, jurisdictional requirements, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to these factors - we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.
