Responsibilities:

  • In collaboration with the Director, ensure the Medical Assistant Training Program recruits a substantial number of students for enrollment per cohort of a maximum of 20 students in creating a pipeline of qualified Medical Assistants to work at FHCSD.
  • Visit area high schools for recruitment purposes and meet with prospective students.
  • Host area high school recruitment fairs in fostering interest in the MA Training Program.
  • Develop a social media presence, and use social marketing to achieve enrollment numbers.
  • Build relationships with prospective students, and host students and families for informational meetings and tours.
  • May oversee the recruitment, selection, training, and work of additional staff.
  • Liaise with community partners to identify interested applicants for the MA Training Program.
  • Plan and organize orientation sessions for new students.
  • Respond to queries from prospective or newly recruited students.
  • Prepare and distribute student recruitment advertising and marketing materials.
  • Develop and give numerous presentations to internal and external audiences.
  • Work with the Director in developing metrics for recruitment, marketing, student retention, student satisfaction, and financial performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Associates degree in relevant major such as business, human resources, or communications preferred.
  • Ability and means to travel as needed in a timely manner within San Diego County, to locations that may have limited access to public transportation; proof of liability and property damage insurance on vehicle used is required. DRIVER REQUIREMENTS: Age 21; Licensed for a minimum of 3 years; No violations and/or accidents within 3 years; No vehicle related suspensions/reinstatements; No DUI, reckless or felony Driving with 7 years.
  • 2 years of work experience related to student recruitment, customer service, sales, or marketing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills necessary for facilitating relationships and building rapport.
  • Excellent public speaking skills to include attributes related to confidence with the ability to engage and persuade audience.
  • Strong research skills to include marketing data, school statistics, student records, and other relevant variables that are essential for recruitment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience in providing a high level of service through the use of CRM software and/or tools and materials related to community fairs and other public events.
  • Must meet FHCSD driving requirements.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base range for this position, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses.

64,480.00 - 85,973.33

If you are hired at Family Health Centers of San Diego, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, jurisdictional requirements, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to these factors - we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.
